The RSA SecurID® system is the world’s leading two-factor user authentication solution, relied upon by thousands of organisation worldwide to protect valuable network resources. Used in conjunction with RSA ACE/Server®, an RSA SecurID authenticator functions like an ATM card for your network, requiring users to identify themselves with two unique factors — something they know and something they have — before they are granted access. 	RSA SecurID Key Fob (SD600) — Displays a unique code generated by the patented RSA SecurID hash algorithm in combination with the unique 64-bit symmetric key contained in the token. Augmented by an internal clock, the algorithm generates a new code every 60 seconds for the programmed life of the fob. This hardware device is a standard-sized FOB that connects easily to any key ring and fits into a user's pocket or small carrying case.
	RSA SecurID Card (SD200) — Operates identically to the RSA SecurID Key Fob in that the device contains the RSA SecurID seed which generates and displays a new token code every 60 seconds. This hardware device, however, is a credit card shaped device that is easily portable and extremely durable.
	RSA SecurID for the Palm Handhelds™ is authentication software that is installed on the Palm Computing Platform and used to positively identify network and system users before gaining access to valuable resources. It works the same as any RSA SecurID software authentication application. Used in conjunction with RSA ACE/Server network security software, RSA SecurID for the Palm Handhelds generates a random, one-time-use access code that automatically changes every 60 seconds.

Easy for the User

RSA SecurID authenticators are as simple to use as entering a password, but much more secure. Each end user is assigned an RSA SecurID authenticator which generates a new, unpredictable code every 60 seconds. The user combines this number with a secret PIN to log into protected resources.

Virtually Hackerproof

Each authenticator has a unique 64-bit symmetric key that is combined with a powerful algorithm to generate a new code every 60 seconds. Only the RSA ACE/Server knows which number is valid at that moment in time for that user/authenticator combination.
